Myson is optimistic about orders for its AV panel (3.5”~10.2”) ICs used in analog / digital AV panels of Car Panels, portable DVD players, and DMB (Digital Multimedia Broadcasting) applications in 2005.
Myson recently landed orders for its AV panel total solutions from several Taiwan, mainland China, and Korea-based panel makers. Myson’s AV panel ICs can be applied to panels manufactured by all the leading suppliers in the industry, such as AUO, CPT, LG Philips, TMD, InnoLux, Prime View, etc. In addition, the products are now in the design-in stage, and the company anticipates impressive growth in shipments this year.
Myson has unveiled two new solutions, including its CS7110 (analog video decoder) and MTV332 (MCU integrating OSD/TCON with embedded Flash) into the analog AV panel system solution as well as its digital panel solution, namely CS7115/7116 (digital video decoder), MTL015 (digital AV panel controller with embedded TCON) and CS8954 (8051 MCU with 64K Flash plus ISP), the company noted.
CS7115/7116 has entered mass production in August 2004, and CS7110 has also launched and its mass production will begin in June 2005, said the company. However, Myson is being careful not to be over-optimistic, and no financial forecast is available for the current moment. | |
